We take pride in offering a range of sessions, including specialized newborn/baby photography. While our family portrait sessions are priced more affordably, newborn sessions are higher for several important reasons.
- Specialized Props and Setup: Newborn/baby sessions often involve a variety of props, and accessories to create the perfect atmosphere. These carefully curated items enhance the overall aesthetic and help capture those precious moments.
- Complex Posing Techniques: Posing newborns requires specialized skills and knowledge. We take extra care to ensure your little one is safe and comfortable while achieving those beautiful, intricate poses that showcase their delicate features.
- Extended Session Time: Newborn sessions typically last longer than standard family shoots. We allow ample time for feeding, soothing, and changing, ensuring that we get the best shots without rushing the experience.
- Editing and Retouching: Newborn photos often require more extensive editing and retouching to ensure they look flawless. We invest time in post-production to enhance the images while maintaining their natural beauty.

How should we dress for our family session?
When choosing outfits for your photo session, opt for colors that complement each other and the location, avoiding busy patterns that can be distracting. Layering can add depth to your look, so consider incorporating accessories like scarves or jackets for added texture. Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident, as that will shine through in your photos! Feel free to reach out for any additional help.
Can I bring my pet?
We love animals and always welcome them to join! All we ask is that you have someone accompany you to your shoot to care for your pet(s) when we are not including them in photos. Please let us know if your pet(s) will be joining.
Where do you take photos?
We’re all about the magic of natural light, whether we’re outdoors or indoors! Imagine sun-drenched parks, lush gardens, or charming urban streets as your backdrop for vibrant, lively shots.
For indoor sessions, we love using the warmth of your home or other cozy spaces to create an inviting atmosphere. Let’s find the perfect location that captures your unique vibe and makes your memories shine!
What rights do I have with my images?
We’re all about celebrating your memories while protecting our creative spirit! When you book a session with us, you receive a print release, which is like your VIP pass to share and print your photos however you’d like.
This means you can proudly display your favorites, create stunning albums, and post them on social media, all while ensuring we retain the rights to our artistic work. Just a friendly reminder: while you can share and print your images, editing them isn’t allowed, so the integrity of our art stays intact. We’re excited to empower you to cherish and celebrate your memories! Please feel to reach out if you have any additional questions.
What is your photographic style?
Our style is all about capturing genuine moments with a natural and candid approach. We love using natural light to create warm, vibrant images that reflect the true essence of our clients and their stories.
Our goal is to make you feel comfortable and at ease during your session, allowing authentic emotions to shine through. Whether it’s a joyful laugh, a tender embrace, or a spontaneous adventure, we focus on those fleeting moments that tell your unique story. With a blend of posed and candid shots, we aim to create a collection of images that are timeless, heartfelt, and uniquely you!
What if it rains on the day of our outdoor session?
We always want to ensure the best conditions for capturing your special moments! In the event of poor weather, such as heavy rain or extreme conditions, we may choose to reschedule your session to ensure we can create beautiful images together.
We’ll communicate with you ahead of time, keeping an eye on the forecast, and work together to find a new date that works for everyone. Your comfort and satisfaction are our top priorities, and we want to make sure your session is as enjoyable and successful as possible!
What if I need to change my session date or time?
We understand things happen and sometimes clients need to change the date or time of the shoot. However, it’s important to notify us in writing as soon as possible to minimize any potential damages. All postponements must be made at least twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled start time; otherwise, the client will be considered a no-show.
We appreciate your understanding, as this helps us manage our schedule and continue providing the best service to all our clients!
Please note that in the event of a cancellation request or a no-show event, you will forfeit the nonrefundable retainer.
What if I am running late for a session?
If you find yourself running late for your session, please let us know as soon as possible! While we understand that life happens, arriving on time is crucial for making the most of our natural light and ensuring your shoot goes smoothly. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to extend the session past the scheduled end time, which may result in compromised images or fewer shots overall.
We want you to have the best experience, so arriving 15 minutes early is always a great idea. If you do anticipate a delay, just keep us posted, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you within the time we have!
My child or loved one had special needs will that be problem?
We absolutely love working with children of all abilities, including those with special needs! Our goal is to create a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. With a strong background in Special Education, I have a genuine passion for working with special needs children, so you can trust that your child will be in caring hands.
